Suai's music has taken her to some pretty notable places. You may have seen her on BET's Baldwin Hills and Black College Tour Specials, ABC Family's Lincoln Heights, gracing the pages of Essence, VIBE and GIANT magazines or sharing stages around the country with Solange, Estelle, John Legend and Ne-Yo to name a few.
As exciting as these accomplishments are, they pale in comparison to the next chapter of her story.
At age 19, Suai's piano/guitar/vocal chops caught the attention of music industry veteran and president of Universal Motown Records Group, Sylvia Rhone. Signed to the label within months of their first meeting, Suai spent her time at Motown, under Ms. Rhone's close supervision, learning the ropes of being a recording artist; honing her writing, recording and performance skills.
